Our company is the coming together of the Bongani-Trust, a truly BROAD BASED BEE owned company within the Imperial Group, and Rainmaker Logistics Pty (Ltd). Bongani-Rainmaker is an owner managed business. The main purpose of this organization is to economically empower Historically Disadvantaged Individuals in South Africa. Directors consist of individuals from all company levels ie pickers, drivers and admin staff.
The Bongani-Trust comprises of 710 INDIVIDUAL SHAREHOLDERS who have a direct stake in all projects undertaken by the company, of whom the majority are HDI in nature. 60% of the company is owned by the Bongani-Trust and 40% by Rainmaker Logistics (Pty) Ltd. So far, more than 1000 people have been empowered through training and financial upliftment.
